Leveraging The "Likes You" Queue

Leveraging The "Likes You" Queue

The Common Belief

If you have a Tinder Gold or Platinum subscription, you have access to the "Likes You" queue, which shows you profiles of people who have already swiped right on you.
Even without a premium subscription, if you've successfully implemented the Strategic Like Priming from Module 2, the first few profiles Tinder shows you when you start swiping are more likely to be from this pool of existing likers.
This a common belief, sometimes explained this way in "glitch" discussions: after a period of like accumulation, your first few swipes will be guaranteed matches. This happens because Tinder is, logically, prioritizing showing you users who have already expressed interest.

Our Approach

Prioritize But Be Selective

If you can see your "Likes You" queue (with Gold/Platinum), regularly review it. These are indeed "warmer leads" as mutual interest is already halfway there.
However, the principle of selectivity still applies. Just because someone liked you doesn't obligate you to like them back if, after reviewing their full profile, you determine they are not a good fit for you. Maintain your standards.
Benefit: Swiping right on a profile from your "Likes You" queue results in an instant match. This is a strong positive signal to the algorithm (successful pairing) and gives you immediate opportunities for engagement (Module 4).

If You Don't Have Premium

After your Incubation Phase and any Strategic Like Priming, pay close attention to the first dozen or so profiles Tinder shows you when you begin your first active swiping session. There's a higher probability these include users who have already liked you.
Apply the same Thoughtful Pause and Selective Swiping principles here. If you like them back, great - instant match! If not, swipe left.

Actionable Insight

Profiles that have already expressed interest in you are a valuable starting point for generating quick, positive matches. Review them thoughtfully, but always apply your own standards. The goal is quality reciprocal matches, not just clearing a queue. Don't fall into the trap of assuming every profile shown after like accumulation is one you must swipe right on.
